I got my first tattoo when I was around 16 years old and that was the spark that started my burning interest in tattooing. Really tired of school and started spending all my free time in that studio. I asked questions and researched how the f*ck to become a tattoo artist, so when I turned 18 I guess the studio owner got tired of my nagging and took me on as an apprentice. It's been a little over 20 years since then!
In 2010 I opened my first studio and three years later I moved to a larger space and got two colleagues. In the summer of 2019 they moved on to new adventures and then I got my own private studio where I work now.
I prefer to work with all possible styles as I find monotonous work very boring, but if I had to choose, it would probably end up in Japanese or color realism.
Since 2019 I have been using Ratios needles. I was late to start using cartridge needles and tried a bunch of different brands, but Ratios Soft Grips are unbeatable! The precision and the thin, fine material in the tips! The solders and the whole kit suits me like a cold pilsner on a hot summer day. I run lines with textured 3, 7 and 9-liners and shading and color packing with 0.30mm 13 and 21 Soft Edge Magnums. I don't need anything else!
