Art and creativity have been my strong suit since I was a child and my dream was to become an artist, but while I was young and approaching adulthood, I realized that my chances of being able to make a living as a pure artist were slim.
Until I discovered and understood the greatness of the art form of tattoos and tattooing. That's when the fire was lit and I started working on a portfolio for a few years before I dared to look for an apprenticeship.
In 2015, I began my apprenticeship in Karlshamn. When my apprenticeship was over, I moved to Jönköping before moving further north to Umeå, where I live now.
I am now specialized in grayscale realism. I use a lot of solid black in my subjects, which are also welcome in darker themes.
Ratio's needles are what I learned to tattoo with and still use today. In fact, it was with Ratio's traditional needles that I drew the first lines on the first tattoo I did on my own thigh.
Nowadays I mostly only use Ratio's Soft Grip Tip Cartridges. I could have basically gotten by with just 0.35mm soft edge 11 Magnum & 0.35 3 Liner for almost all my jobs.
The Mag's is just as good for packing solid black as it is for building up soft grayscales.
I am very honored to be selected as a member of Ratio's Pro Team!
